Infrared, Convection and Infrared/Convection System

Economical conveyor oven systems designed for curing, drying, baking, soldering, annealing, normalizing and heat shrinking. A wide variety of configurations are available to suit almost any application.

Options and Custom Designs:
Many options and configurations are available, on request. For example: computer controlled equipment, multiple zoning of heat chamber, additional chamber temperature readouts, high & low limits, circuit breakers & disconnects, NEMA 12, 4, 4X and cleanroom specifications, unbalanced load indictors, ammeters, voltmeters, etc. Custom sizes and configurations are available upon request. Call for quotation.

Belt & Track Width:

6, 12, 18, 24" and custom

Belt Material: OAL's standard conveyor belt material is 3/8" pitch flat-flex with 0.050 diameter stainless steel wire. 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2" pitch and 0.035, 0.062" diameter wire belts are also available as well as teflon coated fiberglass and fine mesh wire cloth conveyor belts.
Conveyor Length: Design allows quick manufacturing of conveyors via CAD and CNC. Modular designs available allow for expanding the length of the system in 48" sections (other custom sizes available).
Heat Zones: 24, 36, 48, 60, and 72" heat zones easily attach to conveyor frames. Modular designs available.
Forced Convection Air-Flow: Along with infrared systems, many configurations and combinations of convection air-flow are available - horizontal (across belt), vertical (through belt) or mixed air-flow.
Quick Replacement of Parts: Modular design provides easy access and quick replacement of component parts.
Infrared:

Transfers heat directly from the heat source to the object in its path. Object's properties determine whether the radiant energy is reflected, absorbed or allowed to pass through.

Convection: Transfers heat by circulation of air using natural airflow or forced airflow. Some OAL systems allow adjustments to change air direction and volume.
Infrared/Forced Convection: Provides advantages of both infrared and convection for maximum flexibility. Infrared allows fast heat-up and cool down, quick response to temperature changes and direct object heating. Forced convection increases chamber temperature uniformity and provides adjustments for direction and pressure.

Conveyor speed is continuously variable over specified range.

IRCB/TL:

IR, top heat, elements parallel to belt.

IRCB/DL: IR, top and bottom heat, elements parallel to belt.
IRCB/TX or DX: Same as above except elements are perpendicular to belt.
IRCCB/THL: IR and Convection, top heat, horizontal air flow with elements parallel to belt.
IRCCB/THX: IR and Convection, top heat, horizontal air flow with elements perpendicular to belt.
IRCCB/THVL:

IR and Convection, top heat, horizontal and vertical airflow with elements parallel to belt.

IRCCB/THVX: IR/Convection, top heat, horizontal and vertical airflow with elements perpendicular to belt.
CCB/H: Convection only, horizontal (across belt) airflow.
CCB/HV: Convection only, horizontal and vertical (through belt) airflow.

TCD-65:

TCD-65 Control System automatically adjusts temperature in the heat chamber. TCD-65 pulses heaters On and Off through a SCR power contactor. System is designed for medium to high production rates, or critical heat control, +/- 3-5oF.

VFC-6518: The VFC-6518 is the most accurate temperature control available. It provides the best accuracy and economy in heating the oven chamber. VFC controls actual voltage supplied to the heater elements. This is accomplished without pulsing full power On and Off. The VFC digital control center provides the necessary voltage (0-100%) to the elements to ensure accurate chamber temperature. System is designed for medium to high production rates, or very critical heat control, +/- 1-3oF.
A variety of systems, options and interfaces are available..
